SOVEREIGN NOMAD EXPEDITION
A multi-season journey across America in pursuit of adventure, freedom, discovery, and a life fully lived!
The Sovereign Nomad Expedition is an open-ended overland journey to explore the landscapes, people, and experiences while documenting it through photography, story telling, and Field Notes.

-Shakeout trip to Colorado: Rocky Mountain National Park (CO) - Fine tuning systems while reconnecting to the mountains that continue to call me. Wyoming: Curt Gowdy State Park (WY), Wind River Range (WY), Shoshone National forest (WY), Buffalo Bill Resevoir (WY), and Bighorn National Forest (WY) - Exploring the places I still want to see that aren't planned for the Soveriegn Nomad Expedition while testing my travel rhythm in more remote locations. (July 2026)
Phase I:

-Medicine Bow National Forest
-Black Hills
-Theodore Roosevelt National Park + Little Badlands + Little Missouri State Park
-Beartooth Highway enroute to Yellowstone National Park
-Grand Tetons NP
-Stanley, ID + Redfish Lake
-Whitefish, MT + Glacier National Park
-Leavenworth, WA for Octoberfest + Surrounding area
-North Cascades National Park + Mount Baker area
-Olympic Peninsula + Hoh Rain Forest
-Oregon: The coast, Crater Lake, Bend, Waldo Lake and many other places (falls, lakes, rivers, mountains, etc)
-Begin the journey back to Kansas in December 2026 to visit with the kids and a reset for Phase II (Heading Southwest for the winter!)
MY WHY...
To explore America and myself through travel, experiences, photography, and simple living. To challenge old assumptions, discover new perspectives, and to determine what "home" truly looks like.
